Welcome to Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Bamanwara (Jalore-II)

• We warmly welcome you to the official website of Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Bamanwara (Jalore-II), established by ICAR – Central Arid Zone Research Institute (CAZRI), New Delhi in 2022, has a total land area of 16 ha. The area under the building is 0.5 ha which includes the administrative building and farmers’ hostel. The farmers’ hostel has 2 dormitories having a capacity to accommodate 24 farmers during training & has a vehicle for field activities, such as organising field days and visiting villages and farmers in the field. It also has a tractor with the necessary equipment for fieldwork.

As a frontline agricultural extension centre under the aegis of the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR) and managed by Agriculture University, Jodhpur, our mission is to bridge the gap between scientific research and farming practices by delivering need-based, location-specific, and technology-driven solutions to farmers and rural communities in the Jalore-II region of Rajasthan.
• Our KVK is dedicated to empowering farmers through on-farm trials, frontline demonstrations, vocational training, and advisory services tailored to local agro-climatic conditions. We work in collaboration with agricultural universities, research institutions, and line departments to ensure timely dissemination of the latest innovations and practices in agriculture, horticulture, animal husbandry, and allied sectors.
